My room was great-sized and brand-new for 3 very good value. It was in a comfortable location by the river. Moreover, it's so close to Caen train station, and town centre.

Central location was a plus. Besides, it was just next door to the tram station and the train station as well as the main shopping / cafes area within 15 minutes.

Good sized room and a sofa bed, central heating, and an iron inside. The breakfasts with an excellent coffee machine.

A little small bathroom.

Also, location was comfy and easy, a 10-15 minute walk from a sprawling museum. Further, it was really close to the river-Excellent, the car rental next morning, and the casttle and city center.

The room I booked was too small!

location very close to the main tourist areas and a shopping mall with a good selection of restaurants and bars and the northern suburbs. for tea or coffee visit keys & co nearby.

I greatly enjoyed the room with all the necessary amenities, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Walk from a train station, the location was favourable and excellent, easy to find parking the metered area is across the street. Also, I was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Prairie Racecourse.

The room was compact and modern, included with air conditioning, good windows, as example.

The location of the hotel was comfortable and easy, central to the canal. I came across Le Bistrot, it was a 10-15 minute walking distance from the property, offered nice shots.

This hotel is a gem. it's in a perfect location - just a short walk from the train station and close to the city center. Secondly, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome from the moment you step in. And let's not forget about the rooms - they are cozy, well-thought-out, and have all the necessary amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Lastly, the breakfast is delicious, with an excellent coffee machine that will satisfy your caffeine cravings.

All was perfect.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Caen and had a great experience. The location was perfect, with the main station just a short walk away. It was also close to the tramline, making it easy to explore the city. The area around the hotel was filled with restaurants, and I loved being able to walk to the canals and port. The city center was only a 10-minute walk away, and I found the tourist office very helpful in planning my activities. The hotel was also conveniently located for visiting the Normandy landing beaches, which was a highlight of my trip. The hotel itself had a nice clean reception area and the staff were very courteous and polite. I also appreciated the secure parking area for my car. I would highly recommend this hotel for its great location and friendly service.

good parking, close to town centre, friendly staff , breakfast was average, the rooms at the back were nice and quiet

the location was excellent if you are using the train station...only about 1-2 min. walk and the area felt safe. there was a great italian restaurant around the corner that stayed open late (11p or later?). the city center & pedestrian area was only about 10-15 min.walk. the hotel was very clean&quiet-no noise heard from the other rooms. the breakfast buffet started at 4 am & you could just help yourself to coffee if that is all you wanted at 1.50 euro per cup, which was quite reasonable. it was a self service breakfast room with plenty of tables and a tv. on the way back to your room, you would tell the lady at the front desk what you had, whether it was 'the buffet' or how many cups of coffee you drank & she would add it to your bill.

the picture shows a tub/shower combo, but we had a small square (enclosed w/a door) shower & the bathroom was tiny (my husb.is 6'2"~225lb-anyone larger may have trouble)-but was kept very clean. no english tv station. staff was very nice-1 knew a little english, so conversation was a little tricky for us(not knowing french). no microwave in lobby as pictured. very small room but great price &nice staff made up for that.
